Bush values telecoms over American lives

Senator Ted Kennedy:

The President has said that American lives will be sacrificed if Congress does not change FISA.  But he has also said that he will veto any FISA bill that does not grant retro-active immunity.  No immunity, no FISA bill.  So if we take the President at his word, he's willing to let Americans die to protect the phone companies.

Sen. Chris Dodd should replace Sen. Harry Reid for Majority Leader. Also, someone should let Sen. Jay Rockefeller know that his actions are not only going to hurt his own fund raising, but I know people who are not giving to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee specifically because of him.

UPDATE: You can thank Senator Dodd here.

I agree 100 percent; whom do you suggest to take over Nancy Pelosi as speaker? (4.00 / 1)
I agree.  Please replace Harry Reid with Chris Dodd as majority leader.  Right now.  Today.

And how 'bout replacing Nancy Pelosi with Dennis Kucinich or some other Representative like him as the new Speaker of the House while we're at it?
