Mr. George W. Bush:

Listen, the stakes in November are high. This is an important election. Prosperity and peace are in the balance.

Yes, and that's why I'm supporting the Democrats, either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama for president, and Anne Barth in WV-02.

Too much is at stake for West Virginians to continue to support the failed policies of Republicans like Shelley Moore Capito. It's time to return to peace and prosperity.

I can't agree with Bush on this at all.  The key word for me is prosperity since everyone knows that peace is the furthest from his mind.  The problem with many of the enviromental issues we face is due to exploitation of natural resources in order to feed our prosperity fix.  Folks buy meaningless stuff all the time to feed the hunger for material possessions, there doesn't seem to be any quick fix to this malady, it may be next to impossible to power down from current levels.  After waterboarding, wire-tapping, immunity and financial market crash, what's a little prosperity gonna hurt?
