That would require integrity (4.00 / 1)
And the Republican administration has none. They'll do what China tells them to do because a) highlighting China's human rights abuses by the Bush administration would fall on death ears considering America's reputation in the world now and b) Bush and Cheney rely on China to finance the Iraq war on China's credit card. These Olympics are seen as huge to China's prestige. They're not going to let Bush and Cheney rain on their parade and Bush and Cheney really have no interest in respecting human rights so it's not as if they really give a damn any way about what China is doing.
