Franco Harris vs. Heath Shuler

by: Carnacki

Sun May 04, 2008 at 20:03:54 PM EDT

Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer Franco Harris is making phone calls to West Virginia house parties held by supporters of Sen. Barack Obama. Meanwhile Jerome Armstrong is reporting former Washington Redskin Heath Shuler, now a Democratic representative in North Carolina, is endorsing Hillary Clinton.

My first reaction to that news is doesn't Clinton have enough difficulties facing her without Shuler on her team? Third down, who do you go with, Franco Harris or Heath Shuler?

No contest.

Carnacki you astound me with your posts sometimes and this is no different, you must spend nights rolling and tumbling in your bed thinking this stuff up, try to get some sleep with ya?

Heath Shuler will go down, way down, in Redskin History as the biggest bust for a first round draft pick.  He was way overrated in his abilities and the same goes for his athleticism which wasn't nearly as good as predicted.  The same can be said for Hillary Clinton who is masqueradeing as a viable presidential candidate when we all know she will have been way overrated and will fall flat on her face six months into her term if elected.

Franco Harris on the other hand had a wonderful career with the Pittsburg Steelers where he starred in many a super bowl championship and consistently led the league in rushing and touchdowns during his tenure, he left a hero while Shuler left a goat, an expensive one at that.  Obama, like Harris, will lead this country back to prominence in the world and make the world a much safer place just by his vision of what that the new world encompasses and the necessary leadership skills to get it done.
