Good news from West Virginia

Sure it's a primary and not a general election, but in a year where the Republican brand has a lower approval rating than herpes it's something to consider:

Barack Obama with just 26 percent of the Democratic votes 91,663.
John McCain with just 76 percent of all Republican votes 89,654.

More good news to consider.

Anne Barth is going to face Shelley Moore Capito.

And yet more good news! (4.00 / 3)
Don Blankenship's second best buddy, Spike Maynard, lost! Hooray for the good guys!

This year, (4.00 / 2)
rather than people from around West Virginia coming to West Virginia to turn it blue, I recommend West Virginians go to Pennsylvania and Ohio.  West Virginia is not Obama Country, and it's not clear that we can win in Ohio, but we might have a shot in Pennsylvania.

Down with Capito!

Morning after (4.00 / 2)
As an Obama supporter the fact he got more votes than McCain is very encouraging.

It's also helpful to keep in perspective that although Hillary won WV with 67% of the vote, Obama won Virginia with 69% of the vote (69%-35%).

The Democratic win in Mississippi last night is also HUGE!

In a good conversation everyone speaks.  In a great conversation some even listen.
