Some of the names... (4.00 / 2)
I had the "privilege" of hearing Oce Smith (WV01 elector) introduce Charlotte Pritt (then-candidate for governor) at Wv Mountaineer Boys' State.  The Sargent-at-Arms of the WV House of Delegates started the introduction by saying "I knew Charlotte back when she was a pretty little thing in the House of Delegates."  I was livid and let Oce Smith and the administration of WVMBS know I was livid.

Then there's State Senator Jeff Kessler (D-Marshall).  I literally got Jeff his job when Sen. Larry Weidebush died and Gov. Underwood filled his open seat with Mr. Kessler.  It's a long story that I won't get into here that really does involve back-room deals.  Suffice it to say, it was the worst mistake I ever made in my political career.

On the positive side, Presidential Electors Virginia Graf, Ken Hechler and J. Franklin Long are great choices.

When it comes to the delegates to the national convention Walt Auvil is a good progressive.  Then there's the Tennant-Wells "supercouple."  Pearl Reardon and Steve Skinner are good progressives from the eastern panhandle and Meshea Poore is an emerging young African-American woman in Kanawha county politics (she nearly took out Carrie Webster in the primary).  I don't know much about anyone from the 3rd except Betty Cleckley.  What an awesome woman.

I do question some of the at-large reps.
