Thank you, Sen. Byrd for being among the 28 Senators who voted against the misguided FISA reform bill yesterday.

You have once again served West Virginia, our country, and our constitution well. We need more people like you, those who protect our rights and liberties, representing us in Congress.

Thank you.

Often things cancel each other out (4.00 / 3)
I watched each vote on C-CPAN2 yesterday. I may have to pick something stronger at Drinking Liberally. Since only Bingaman reached threshold of 40 plus for a filibuster I knew, to quote John McCain, "the dice were rolled".

Unlimited long distance has made me more active. I used to email a lot before. Now I love talking to a staffer I know is somewhere between our oldest and my husband youngest cousin's age, especially at Shelley's office.

I work with some from MD. We watched as Cardin and Mikulski canceled each other out, as did Byrd and Jay. Kennedy and McCain both not voting was a wash. Johnny has been ducking a lot of votes.

Article I comes first. As my secular prayer, I read the Constitution on the Fourth. Let's get working on replacing Shelley. I registered my protest vote against Jay in the primary.

Had to explain the meaning of the word to my thirteen year old. Arabic root. Poor girl will need glasses for high school like me.

The Jay'08 button I picked up at the convention fell off my purse.

The union made Woman for Obama! I ordered is still there.

Thank you, Senator Byrd (4.00 / 1)
And to Senator Rockefefeller and the others who voted for this POS, bowing to Bush and making Democrats look weak

This is closer to what happened to the US Constitution.

Watched all the high foreheads, and Heather Wilson with her serious voice, at the signing ceremony. Can I vote against Jay in the primary again?
