Last night at home with Mr. CA Hussein WV I blurted out Maurice Hincey. I got a quizzical look. "You asked who that white haired gentleman standing behind Speaker Pelosi was a the press conference a few nights ago on The News Hour and I couldn't think of his name until now", I responded. "Oh, I forgot I even asked", was what accompanied the shrug. How many marriages has C-SPAN ruined?

I looked at the press coverage on the signing of this bill only for eva' so short a time. I could not bear the sight of it. But I could rattle off in my mind Lamar Smith, Peter Hoekstra, John Boehner, Roy Blunt, Darrel Issa, Dan Ludgren, Heather Wilson , Jon Kyle, Kit Bond, Orrin Hatch, AG  Mukasey, DNI McConnell. Not just the usual suspects, Darth V. Cheney and Joe Lieberschmuck, I recognized them all, even Louie Gomert. What is with Texas?

Ms. Speaker was not there. Mr. CA Hussein WV gained respect for her after he found out she attend the same college as his late mother. She and Harmon were both on Intelligence. Some wonder why Jane did not get the Chair after 2006.

I was looking for Jay and did not pick him out despite his height. I guess I could not bear to think of it and therefore did not see. Maybe I was channeling Scarlett. "I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow."

So now my monthly ACLU Guardians of Liberty pledge has to be increased. I'm not whining. It's Friday, ya' bastards!

If there's any fairness or justice left, this FISA mess will be ruled unconstitutional toot sweet.

But as we've seen lately, (Say hey, Karl!) fairness, justice, or even just the rule of law have all been in short supply...

Number one daughter buys this magazine occasionally. I read the last one, August issue, and it had the article on Who Wrecked the Economy?, for all of us whiners.
