Via pollster.com, Insider Advantage poll:

West Virginia 10/13, 522 LV, 4%
McCain 49, Obama 47

You've got to like those trend-lines.

Insider a notch above ARG in 538 in poll ranking (4.00 / 1)
Hey, the fact that there is another poll by itself is good news. Everybody moving to LV model at this point, I hope.

Trosen comment at Pollster:

The NC and WV #s have to make the McCain campaign puke up their Wheaties. They can't be fighting tooth and nail for states like that at this stage of the game.

mrut comment at Pollster:

I have been to WV. I served in the Army in Kentucky. Those "gun-rack, pickup truck, rebel-flag-waving white men" don't lie to pollsters about who they are supporting.

And I think this comment is true. I wish the "medias" would stop with analogies to the 1982 Calif. governor's race. Harold Ford got what he polled. Like Dubya said, "it's a different century".

538 moves W.Va. to toss-up (4.00 / 1)
Nate Silver moved W.Va. from lean McCain to toss-up today.

His projected model has O 49, M 48.9. I think that's the first time Obama has led the 538 projection.
