(Any Shelley sightings lately? - promoted by Carnacki)

I think it is worth noting that, according to the Moorefield Examiner, Rep. Capito thinks that discussions of economic stimuli via large and small scale infrastructure programs "are very premature" according to press secretary Coffin. "We share some concerns that it is moving too quickly."

Mustn't have programs designed to start correcting our cratering economy implemented too quickly.

Well, she did show up for the second auto industry hearing. (4.00 / 1)
She thinks setting up an oversight board in 26 days is impossible also. And there was this little tidbit at the end, that Kagro X at the new Congress Matters noticed. Our Shelley, an oxy-moran! This is a link to her entire questioning.

Rep. CAPITO: I was actually -- just to add a little levity to this -- I was thinking about, you know, we think about our cars and our automobiles, and I started thinking about all the cars that I've had, and I remembered all the names that we have. You know, we had Leroy, and Big Blue, and Crasher and Goldy. And then the one my dad drove, which was an old Chrysler wagon, and we called that the Chick Magnet. [Laughter.] So we had, you know, everybody has a name or an attachment to... sorry, Mr. Chairman... to their automobiles.

Chairman FRANK: Well, it's just not something I would ever want to drive.

Well then . . . (4.00 / 1)
. . . nice to see she finds it all so amusing.  I knew there was a reason she won re-election overwhelmingly in our blue-collar state.  She thinks we're cute.

No occasion too big or too small to remind the world that she is Arch A. Moore's daughter, either.

Daddy gets a Bush pardon and Shelley gets a Senate seat - thats the plan.

Happy to know Arch had a car called "the chick magnet."

I wonder - what did the family call the car that he hunched down in the back seat in with a paper bag filled with cash?
