I'm curious as to what "travel site" has a similiar web address to West Virginia Blue's. I'm glad Charleston Gazette reporter Alison Knezevich checked into our site being blocked and that the state Office of Technology unblocked it. We'd received several emails about it.

Curiously we received more emails asking for us to resolve this than the state's Office of Technology help desk. Perhaps it means people turn to West Virginia Blue when they want a problem fixed. We also had emails from people with blocked access at different state agencies than the two agencies Kyle Schafer named.

But to any state employees looking for a travel site, I recommend this one.

Paging One Citizen (0.00 / 0)
One Citizen, one of the things I really admire about you is your ability to engage in newspaper comments sections. You are far more patient and persistent than I could ever be.

The fine readers of the Charleston Gazette have weighted in 3 to zero so far that state employees should not be reading our site.

Just as much as any newspaper website, our site is primarily for news and information rather than entertainment. Maybe you (or someone else who already has a Gazette login) could remind them of the merits of having well informed public officials setting and enforcing government policies.
