Its been a great day at Netroots Nation 2009 here in Pittsburgh starting off the day with Howard Dean's speech on health care, then standing in line to get a signed copy of his new book Prescription for Real Health Care Reform, followed by interviews of Arlen Spector and Joe Sestak who will be running against each other in the Pennsylvania Senatorial Democratic Primary. Then a great meeting with several fellow state bloggers. I also attended a panel discussion related to starting and riunning local blogs at the city and county level. I also got to meet CA Berkeley WV while attending the local blog panel discussion. I have been a fan of Congressman Joe Sestak for a long time. I believe he will be a credible candidate in his race with Spector. By the way Senator Spector came across as very supportive and knowledgeable on many progressive issues. He is going to support health care reform and many other Obama administration initiatives.
