The Clarksburg Rally (4.00 / 1)
Sponsored by North Central WV Democracy for America, will feature the "Wheel of Misfortune." Spin the wheel, learn about health care insurance and win 'valuable' prizes.

isn't the other side showing up at noon? (4.00 / 1)
The default time and location for each of the Recess Rallies is Noon local time out in front of each of the 1000+ congressional offices. If you are unsure, you can just show up at the location. In the event there is a different location and time set for the event, that information will be listed beneath the specific district. If you are an organizer in your area and would like to be listed as a local contact, please contact us at rally@americanlibertyalliance.com.

The Nationwide Recess Rally takes place on Saturday, August 22nd, 2009. If you believe your liberty, your hard earned money and your way of life is under attack through dangerous healthcare legislation currently being proposed, get to your local Representative office on August 22nd and make sure he/she knows.

You know which one the Ogden papers will cover.

Tea-baggers always come late..... (0.00 / 0)
The event was organized as a result of all the negative, loud, and outright lies perpetrated by the right so it looks like in order to get OUR message across to THE PEOPLE we will come early and scare the bejezus out of them before they even get started. You got it?  Psss...Dont tell Steve

PRAYER VIGIL (4.00 / 2)
A Prayer Vigil for the Uninsured will be held this Saturday, August 22, 7PM in Morgantown at the Hazel Ruby McQuain Park on the Waterfront.  All faith traditions welcome.

Back when Capito ran, one of her main TV ads was all about spreading fear regarding illegal immigrants. (4.00 / 1)
Someone must have advised her that it's a hot button issue in her district because  her campaign spent a lot of money on those TV ads.

Now, one of the main lies rightwingers are spreading through blogs, emails and comments sections of newspapers and magazines is that paying for universal health care for illegals will bankrupt the Democratic side's presently proposed "universal" system of health care.

IT IS A LIE. Fact is, there are NO proposals on the table to cover illegal immigrants through universal health care in the U.S., beyond standard emergency care laws which have been in place for decades.

So if you're at one of Capito's town hall meetings, listen carefully to how she now answers questions about universal health coverage for illegals. It's likely to come up. And although she's pretty good at using weaselwords, you may just catch her in an outright lie.
