This just in EPA chief Lisa Jackson is explaining in an unprecedented news conference that GHG's are manmade and should and will be regulated by EPA.  Great news!

The timing of this announcement is great considering the big rally today at WVDEP HQ in Kanawha City.

Hoppy lobbies for Coal industry every day (4.00 / 1)
I hear Hoppy rail against the EPA almost every day for their enforcing this nations environmental laws, the ones that are already on the books.  I email him regularly to tell him how disappointed I am in his positions, he usually listens respectfully and reads my emails on the air and sometimes he even sends a reply agreeing with me on my postions (but never does he utter a word on the air about it). The pro-coal commercials that innundate the metro news network are sickening to me in that they put forth false claims that are unanswered and unchallenged.  I think if the anti-MTR, progressive dems, interested environmentalists, and just plain voters demand more transparency from Metro News then maybe it will happen. If not it will be business as usual.
