CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Another winter storm is heading toward West Virginia and some eastern counties could receive up to 2 feet of heavy, wet snow.

The National Weather Service said Thursday that the storm could be as bad as one in December that stranded hundreds of motorists and knocked out electricity to thousands of customers across the state.

The Eastern Panhandle is expected to be hit the hardest, with 16 inches to 2 feet of snow and near-blizzard conditions expected.
