Many native sons we should be proud of that most don't know about.

Murtha got his seat in 1974, a special election replacing someone who had passed.

The jerks over at Red State waited about 12 hours before dissing him on twitter. I think Caleb Howe ran out of Perrier and Diet Coke. They probably all have small feet.

Southern Baptist Pastor Wiley Drake "claims that he and his prayer warriors" had been praying for John Murtha's death for four or five months.

It is notable that

At one point, Drake prayed for the death of President Barack Obama. However, he dropped that because he wants to see Obama faces charges that he is not a natural-born citizen and so cannot be president. Drake has such a lawsuit on appeal.

Since Reverend Drake was unsuccessful at assassinating the president via imprecatory prayer, he's avoided the death of the "Birther" movement by publicly announcing the birth of the "Deather" movement.
