Rockefeller Statement Soon

Reference Carnacki's post below...

I just talked to Senator Rockefeller's office a few minutes ago. This was his Charleston, WV office as I could not get through to the Washington or Beckley, WV offices.
Evidently a statement will be released this afternoon regarding reconciliation. Since the statement had not been released I was not able to ascertain where he stands. I was told to call back tomorrow by the receptionist, and she would read the statement to me.
Hopefully some good news will follow, but who knows.

Huffpo says "Rockefeller Not Inclined To Support Reconciliation For The Public Plan" (0.00 / 0)
According to his comments to Huffington Post yesterday, Rockefeller objects to using reconciliation for HCR public option, "I'm probably not going to vote for that".

Hopefully, he will reconsider, but I doubt it. It's very disappointing.

In a good conversation everyone speaks.  In a great conversation some even listen.

Oops! Just saw Carnacki's post (0.00 / 0)
It would be great to have him reconsider.

I was very surprised by the HuffPost article on this- maybe he has been distracted defending status quo coal.

Oh Yes, it is so very VERY surprising! (0.00 / 0)
OR IS IT?

This is the same guy who wanted to give the Telecoms immunity for illegal warrantless wiretapping of Americans citizens without a warrant.
