'eers win ugly (4.00 / 2)
but we'll take it....Kentucky will be a whole different brand of ball players but the boys have shown a propensity to rise to the occasion all season long. Free throw shooting is improved and that will be the key against Kentucky IMHO.  My bracket is still alive with K-State, and WVU, most everything else has fallen by the wayside....

for the (4.00 / 2)
first time ever on this blog i was wrong yesterday when i intimated we would be ok without truck...we were out of sync offensively and it resulted in way too many turnovers...good thing washington cant shoot well... a win is a win but it will take a considerably better effort valuing the ball to beat the much hated wildcats

I think we may have worked out the awkwardness... (4.00 / 3)
of not having truck as our starting point guard.  However, if we commit 13 turnovers in the first half against UK, Saturday night will not be pretty.  We need 40 straight minutes of consistent basketball, and it wouldn't hurt if all of our shooters found the range.  Last night, Kevin Jones bailed us out.  Tomorrow, we need Butler, Ebanks, Jones, Mitchell, and Smith/Flowers to put up numbers.

Gogo Mountaineers! (4.00 / 2)
Show them West Virginia Spirit!  We don't quit, we don't give up, we don't take anything for granted.

Wildcats tamed by Mountaineers! (0.00 / 0)
What a weird game, all those threes in the first half and all the layups in the second half....bad calls by the refs, Mazulla gets in foul trouble...all those free throws near the end...finally after all the suspense the
'eers pull another one out of the fire....Kentucky goes down...even the announcers seemed to be pulling for the Wildcats..weird game indeed
