we should never forget what happened 40 yrs ago and how Nixon and the Ohio governor whipped up the National Guard in a frenzy of fear....of unarmed students no less...not one of the killers were ever brought to justice for firing on unarmed American students on their home campus, unbelievable when you think about it...wonder if they teach this in school?

As one who lived in the Kent area in 1970, I still recall the horror of seeing personnel carriers filled with armed soldiers roll into town in order to put down an uprising of peace activists. The circumstances surrounding this infamous attack should not only be taught in school, but May 4, itself should be a national day of remembrance and atonement.
