Fight back

What John Edwards said:

I think that when people like Ann Coulter -- and it's not just her, unfortunately, it's her and people just like her, Karl Rove and all those people. I mean, when they engage us in this kind of hatemongering, you have to stand up to them. You have to stand up to them. They start this fight, but we have to be willing to be strong and to fight back. Because if we don't, Chris, what happens is all the important things: men and women dying in Iraq, those who don't have health insurance, et cetera, their issues don't get heard.

John Edwards is much more Christian than Anne Coulter.... (4.00 / 1)

Actions speak louder than words.

John Edwards the lawyer acted in behalf of many middle-class citizens to get justice for them.  He lives a productive, wonderful, life making people's lives easier by taking on poverty.  And even his words are "words of love,"

Why does the media criticize him for just collecting in most cases the maximum amount which really is just a drop in the bucket compared to the back pay that most of his clients got while big corporations on the other hand pay their attorneys in some cases millions of dollars to screw the little guy most of the time?

More Republican hypocrisy.  They say that trial lawyers are ruining this country while ignoring the fact that their lawyers are paid top dollar in some cases just to keep the lower middle class type of person just a few thousand dollars at most.

The media ignores the corporate Republican lawyers most of the time while at the same time blasting Democratic trial lawyers for helping lower middle-class people get the justice they so richly deserve.

I know that there are many if not a majority of trial lawyers that just want money and riches and that's it.  And I can't stand them.

But how about these corporate lawyers who are bought off with millions of guaranteed dollars just to deny justice for the little man these corporations wronged in the first place?  If you're going to critcize the trial lawyers you have to blast the corporate attorneys as well.

Yet another example of that double standard that time and time again favors the Republicans and their supporters.

The Repubicans blast Edwards for helping middle class people wronged by these corporations while letting these same businesses off the hook for spending millions of dollars in some cases just to screw lower middle class people out of getting the justice they so richly deserve.

I love his wife Elizabeth for sincerely and politely asking Coulter to stop the hatred.  This is no doubt the Christian way of handling this situation.

And how does "Ms. Pharisee" respond?  She flat-out refuses to honor Mrs. Edwards' wishes with even more and worse hatred than before.  She says that her main goal in life is to just sell books and that's it.

Why do the majority of so-called "Christian" radio stations air Coulter's garbage time and time again?   I just don't get it....

And sadly she has a loyal and faithful audience willing to shell out top dollar for her books.  And I bet that at least 51 percent of them are bought by my fellow evangelicals and Pentecostals many of whom can't afford in the first place.  Sad but true....

I just don't get my fellow evangelicals' reasoning yet again....
