I hope Sen.-elect Joe Manchin and Sen. Jay Rockefeller show them the love and vote for the Paycheck Fairness Act because our women deserve to make the same amount of money as a man when doing the same job.
Even now, women nationally make just 77 cents to every $1 made by a man, according to a 2007 Census Bureau report.
In West Virginia, the inequality is even worse, just 67 cents to every $1 made by a man.
Women voted for Manchin 56 percent to Florida Republican John Raese's 41 percent.
I hope Manchin remembers that when it's time to vote for the Paycheck Fairness Act and show our wild and wonderful women some fairness and love too.
