How to Contact Your WV Elected Officials

Every West Virginian is represented in Congress by two Senators and one Congressperson. You are also represented by (at least) 2 state Senators and a state House member.

Here's how to get in touch with them.

I've been told it's a waste of time to send mail to Washington, DC. With the post 9/11 screening process, it takes way too long. Best to either fax or email if you have materials to get to someone in DC. For time-sensitive matters--like a scheduled vote--I hear a call or fax to the DC office is best. For other matters a visit to the local or DC office is really good.

More importantly, don't worry too much about how you express your views, just do it!

Contacting Congressman Rahall (4.00 / 3)
FYI, although the address posted here up to date, as is his website; for those of you who have visited his Beckley office in the past, thought you may not have noticed that the Beckley office moved in December. It's still downtown, just around the corner from where it was, but there may not be a sign in the window of the old office informing people that they moved.
