Capito votes to end Medicare and Medicaid

Republican Rep. Shelley Moore Capito voted with the majority of the Republicans to end Medicare and Medicaid in 10 years. Surprising fellow Republican David McKinley was just one of four Republicans to join the Democrats in voting no to dismantle Medicare and Medicaid.

This bill is going no where, but it's interesting to see Capito has no trouble with telling seniors they're going to have to find their own health insurance.

it's not just seniors on Medicare (4.00 / 2)

but people on disability as well

I heard somewhere that one third of those covered by medicare are children. don't know if that's correct or not.

Mckinley Voted against Ryan's budget I wonder if the tea party will be after him now.

One of only four Republican votes against the Ryan disaster. Too many Medicare recipients in the district? Grandchild on Medicare? I don't know. But good on him, no matter how many disasters he signs on to hereafter. At least he did not sign on to this one.
