Normally, Joe Manchin would be up in arms over this (4.00 / 1)
Say what you will about our Lieberdem senator, but he's usually pretty good about fighting nasty stereotypes of Appalachians.

But since the perpetrators are his masters in the coal industry, I'm guessing he'll be quiet on this one.  


Well, I am glad the industry hacks sorted this one out for me (4.00 / 2)
My family tree has more than a few instances over two centuries of cousin marrying cousin. I don't remember any stories about the kid they kept in the attic. I guess it is because after landing in Philly in 1738 they never made it any further west or south than the EP, limestone country.

Oh, wait. that contradicts their theory. That's right, we are not REAL West Virginians since we live up here in the thumb. Sigh.
