It'll pick up around here in 2012, but considering our last gubernatorial candidate didn't ignite any fires here there wasn't anything to really blog.

We don't like the Consumer Protection Financial Bureau but it has only been running for 100 days with an associate director because my colleagues in the Senate blocked the bitch and have not confirmed anyone. That is because it is funded by the Fed and that means we have no real oversight function. The Senate should just pass our common sense reforms in case you guys don't spend appropriated money and let us meddle. We did such a good job of oversight under Dubya. Don't research my campaign contributors!!!
