JAY AND SHARON ROCKEFELLER WELCOME BABY GRANDDAUGHTER
Washington, DC -- Senator Jay Rockefeller and his wife Sharon today announced the birth of their fourth grandchild, Lucille (Lucy) Natalia Wayne. At 8 lb, 3 oz., Lucy Natalia was born Monday evening and is the second child of their daughter Valerie and her husband Steve Wayne. Valerie and Steve's first daughter, Percy Abigail Wayne, will turn 2 years-old in November.
"We are absolutely thrilled for Valerie and Steve, and this new addition to their family. As the parents of four children, we know very well the joy that comes from bringing a new child into this world. We are so grateful to have another healthy and happy grandchild," said Jay and Sharon Rockefeller.
Valerie Rockefeller Wayne, who was born and raised in Charleston, currently lives in New York and St. Petersburg, Russia with her husband and now two daughters. Valerie previously worked in special education for children while her husband is the founder and owner of the Jensen Group, a venture capital firm based in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Jay and Sharon are also the proud grandparents of Laura Chandler Rockefeller and Sophia Percy Rockefeller, daughters of their son John and his wife Emily.
